Thriller Filming Day 1

Today was a very hectic day, we done a lot of filming using a vast shot of camera angles. Today we had to go and book the library room which ended up not getting, so instead we had to improvise and use a different room similar to the one in the library, and we found the best solution. It mean that we had to lose some camera shots like the bookshelf shot we wanted to include, it’s still in our plan in case we ever do choose to re-film in the library. We also change our main character, as the character we intended to get we couldn’t because they couldn’t fit the hours.

Today we got a lot of the filming in which I am very proud of, everyone contributed to the types of shots we should include, so we started experimenting and created some nice shot angles. There were some shots which we couldn’t get in today because we didn’t have enough of the equipment needed, like the computer scene when the character receives an email, we couldn’t do that because the email hadn’t been made yet. So we have to re-film that on another day, which is a good thing cause we get to see if there are any other kinds of shots we could and should include, it also gives us some more practicing and time to go over what we’ve filmed, to see if there were any continuity errors.

So that’s the wrap of the first day, really pleased of what we done cause I was also directing the film as well. Everyone contributed but not sure if everyone done enough work needed, that’s what we need to improve on, so that's it until filming day 2, see Ya.
